It's Gone!

The foot stomping has ceased!  There is a lightness in the air in The Curate's house!  The weighty slab of a portfolio (completed three weeks early) has left the building.  It was removed by The Curate's Director of Ministerial Education when he called by yesterday.  It contains the evidence of three years curacy - including reflections, letters of thanks, orders of service, minutes of meetings....in fact, probably everything except The Curate himself!

  3. Thanks Perpetua - a long way to go yet!
Hi Pyschodelic Elephants - hope it all goes well - we had to wait another year after the BAP - The Curate was tasked with finding out about spirituality in the Church of England (!) He had been confirmed into the Methodist church. It has seemed a long journey to where we are now - especially from the side line.

  6. Harriet, are you asking me? On my blog I use the embedded comment format which now allows threaded comments (comment + reply) and I really like it. I'm sure more people comment now I can answer them individually. I also think getting rid of word verification has encouraged comments.

In the old dashboard go into Settings - Comments and under Comment Form Placement select Embedded below post.

If you're using the new interface go to Settings - Posts and Comments and under Comment Location choose Embedded.

PS A thankyou to Perpetua for her instructions to embed comments ... something I had wondered about, but didn't know the answer.

  8. When a big 'something' is finalised, finished and dispatched, there is always a wonderful sense of relief - your picture is perfect and makes me feel relief without due cause! Axxx

  9. Thanks Perpetua - I will attempt to sort this out. Thank you Annie and Shirley. The photo is of my paper weight - quite an appropriate subject I felt for the post!

  10. You're welcome, Harriet. It really doesn't take long.

Shirlwin, you need to do it separately for each of your blogs, I'm afraid.
