He is Risen

Happy Easter
I'd like to think the sunrise service had a view like the above - but this is the moor. After a clear night we had a foggy damp walk up to the edge of the moor for an early communion and it looked more like this-

  1. He is risen indeed, Alleluia! A very happy Easter to you and The Curate, Harriet. Off to church in the village this morning (Church of Scotland) and then going with 2 friends on a 100 mile round trip to Kinlochbervie to make our Easter communion at the nearest Anglican Eucharist in our mission area! Distances here are huge....

  3. He is risen indeed. Our sunrise service, usually held in the open, was held in the church because there was several inches of snow on the ground.

  4. Hi Perpetua, That is some distance to travel - I hope the weather was good for you.
Thanks Janice - it's good to hear from you.
Bonnie - Lots of the UK had snow last week - it is a little more exciting than the dull grey cloud/ fog we had. Sunrise services aren't the same indoors though!
    Happy Easter to you all
